Soma Access Systems LLC is pleased to announce that Dr. Robinson Ferre will be making a poster presentation reviewing THE FEASIBILITY OF A NOVEL ULTRASOUND GUIDED VASCULAR ACCESS DEVICE: A PILOT STUDY at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine March 29-April 2, 2014 in Las Vegas. The poster outlines the outcome of a study of a convenience sample of 30 patients undergoing central venous access to determine whether the AxoTrack® system would be safe and effective in performing real-time ultrasound guided central venous lines.

Soma Access Systems LLC is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Mercier made a poster presentation of how A NOVEL ULTRASOUND DEVICE FACILITATES A UNIQUE APPROACH TO SUPRACLAVICULAR CENTRAL VENOUS CATHETER INSERTION at the 43rd Annual Congress of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. More than 4,000 critical care physicians attended the Congress, held this year in San Francisco, CA. The poster reviewed the outcome of a study of 100 patients undergoing central venous cannulations from September 2012 to July 2013, 33 of whom underwent supraclavicular access.

Soma Access Systems LLC is pleased to announce that Dr. Robinson Ferre presented a poster describing THE USE OF A NOVEL ULTRASOUND GUIDANCE SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME CENTRAL VENOUS CANNULATION: INITIAL REPORT ON SAFETY AND EFFICACY at the 2nd Annual World Congress on Ultrasound Medicine. Held in Columbia, SC, the event was designed to stimulate interest and share best practices in the integration of ultrasound in medical education and practice. The poster presented by Dr. Ferre described the outcome of a retrospective study of 100 patients in three hospitals.
